3 jobs billionaire Bill Gates believes will not be ‘destroyed’ by AI

In a blog post, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates discussed the potential impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the job market. He acknowledged concerns about AI potentially displacing jobs in creative fields such as content creation, writing, translation, and design. However, Gates also highlighted the positive aspects of AI, likening its emergence to the internet revolution of the 2000s.

Gates emphasized that while some jobs may disappear due to AI, new opportunities will also emerge. He cited the example of travel companies, which have evolved due to online booking platforms, offering consumers greater access to travel experiences.

Gates identified three sectors that he believes will not only withstand the changes brought about by AI but also be enhanced by its capabilities. These include AI development, sustainable energy, and biological and health sciences. He noted that AI is creating new job opportunities in fields such as AI development and highlighted the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions and advancements in health sciences.

Additionally, Gates highlighted the importance of utilizing AI as a tool for work and emphasized the need for continued progress in maximizing its potential.
