Elon Musk, owner of Twitter since October, said he had resolved the misunderstandings that had arisen in recent days with Apple. On Monday, Musk accused Apple of halting advertising investments on Twitter and threatening to remove the social network application from its App Store, the service through which apps are distributed on iPhones and iPads. Finally, on Wednesday he published some tweets in which he said he had met the head of Apple, Tim Cook, and had clarified any misunderstandings with him: Musk specified that Cook assured him that Apple never thought of removing Twitter from the App Store, but did not say whether the issue of advertising investments was also discussed during the meeting.

Good conversation. Among other things, we resolved the misunderstanding about Twitter potentially being removed from the App Store. Tim was clear that Apple never considered doing so.
