A leak has just revealed that Xbox is working on a gamepad similar to the DualSense of the PS5 console.
According to The Gamer, the controller is an extremely important component in the design of a game console, it can be said that the success or failure of a video game system lies in the included controller. For example, the PlayStation 5 has been praised by the gaming community for its DualSense controller.
And Xbox seems to be following the successful path of DualSense while working on a PlayStation 5-inspired controller.
Accordingly, an industry insider named Shpeshal Nick revealed on the XboxEra podcast that Xbox is working on a game controller inspired by DualSense. The news says that the company has created a prototype version of the new controller with a touchpad similar to the DualSense and DualShock 4. In addition, this person also revealed that the new Xbox controller will have a feature called “” HD Rumble”, similar to haptics on DualSense.
However, Nick also notes that it will be a long time before the product can get its hands on Xbox owners or it won’t even make it to the market.
There’s no doubt that PlayStation has won the console wars. Last year, Spencer acknowledged the Xbox’s controller development process and wished it was more like DualSense. Hopefully, the new controller will not meet the same fate as Project Keystone when the project was unfortunately stopped.
