The Razer Edge handheld cloud game console will be officially launched on January 26.
According to Engadget, Razer has revealed a release date for the Razer Edge, its handheld cloud gaming device. Accordingly, Razer Edge will officially come to gamers on January 26, it is known that the device is powered by Snapdragon’s G3x Gen 1 Gaming Platform chip.
The Razer Edge is basically an Android 12 tablet built inside the Razer Kishi V2 Pro controller. The device has a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a resolution of 2,400×1,080. Razer Edge has 8GB RAM, 128GB storage (can run Android games and apps locally), a 5,000mAh battery, HyperSense haptic feedback, a pair of digital microphones, 3 headphone jack .5 mm speaker, and two-way speaker with support for Verizon Adaptive Sound.
In terms of connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, as well as Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband if you want to stream games on the go. The Epic Games, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and NVIDIA GeForce Now launchers will all come pre-installed.
The Wi-Fi version will cost $ 400 (about VND 9.4 million), and for the 5G version, the game console will be offered exclusively from Verizon for $ 600 (about VND 14 million).
