Customers who pre-ordered Diablo IV will get early access to the beta from mid-March.
According to Engadget, at the IGN Fan Fest event, Blizzard announced that it will soon give Diablo IV fans the opportunity to try out the action RPG before it officially launches on June 6 this year.
Similar to what it did with the development of Diablo II: Resurrected, Blizzard will hold an early access wave before allowing all players to experience the new game. According to the company, the early access will run from March 17 to March 19 and will only be available to those who pre-ordered Diablo IV .
A week later, the open beta will begin to open on March 24 and be open to everyone.
Versions of the two trials will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, both of which offer access to the same amount of content. Specifically, players will have the opportunity to experience the opening of the game.
Blizzard promised to share more information about the Diablo IV open beta during a live stream that the studio plans to broadcast on February 28.
