The Pokémon Company has announced the next Pokémon Presents livestream will take place later this week.
According to Engadget, the next Pokémon Presents live stream will take place on February 27, aka Pokémon Day, at 9 p.m. Vietnam time.
The Pokémon Company did not reveal details about the content of the broadcast other than announcing in a Twitter post that it will be a relatively short event lasting only about 14 minutes, and that the community will be able to watch. on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.
Pokémon Day is an event that marks the anniversary of the first games in the Pokémon franchise. Pokémon Red and Green was released in Japan on February 27, 1996. The company also announced multiple updates to the Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Go, and Pokémon Cafe Mix games ahead of the events on Sunday, February 27.
The event also showcased The Pokémon Company’s recent busyness in the video game market. Not only did the company release Pokémon Unite and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl last year, the Pokémon Legends: Arceus also reached players less than a month ago. Meanwhile, the beta of Pokémon TCG Live was released in Canada this week.
It remains to be seen how the streaming will give us an insight into what’s next with the aforementioned titles, possibly giving an early glimpse of a new game, or even even both.
