Not only with the iPhone 14 series this year, but Apple is also expected to continue maintaining its business strategy in the coming years to ensure more profit.
According to Neowin, a few months ago there was a rumor that Apple might not introduce its new and best Bionic chip for the regular iPhone 14 models.
However, analyst Ming-chi Kuo recently said that with the new strategy, Apple will provide the latest Bionic chip exclusively for high-end iPhone models, such as iPhone 14 Pro upcoming Which means iPhone SE and non-Pro models won’t benefit from Apple’s latest chip. As a result, the Pro models will look much more premium than the regular models.
Before that, Apple distinguished the Pro series from the usual by equipping a much superior camera system. Now, not only the camera, but the Pro series also stands out in a number of other features. For example, the iPhone 13 Pro comes with a ProMotion display, which is essentially a description of a 120 Hz display – a feature not found on regular iPhone 13 models.
Apple hopes the big difference between the “Pro” and “non-Pro” models will lead to more people buying high-end iPhones, helping the average iPhone price rise. That means more profit for the company.
Kuo’s added new strategy will also benefit camera suppliers on high-end iPhones. But users will now have to pay more if they want to own an iPhone equipped with Apple’s latest chip.
