True to previous leaked rumors, Apple introduced the second-generation version of its high-end wireless headphones AirPods Pro at the Far Out event.
AirPods Pro comes with a new H2 chip that the company promises to provide improved sound quality and twice as good noise cancellation as its predecessor.
The headphones also come with a new charger that supports the Find My feature and a built-in speaker so users can keep track of them more easily. Besides charging with a Lightning cable or a Qi or MagSafe wireless charger, users can also charge it with an Apple Watch charger. Apple says the new AirPods Pro have a better battery, providing up to 6 hours on a single charge.
The new AirPods Pro are priced at $249. Users can order the product from September 9, before it officially hits the shelves on September 23. headphones will also come with a new small ear cushion to better fit some user headphone sizes.
It is known that the first generation AirPods Pro was not announced by Apple at a product launch event but through a press release in October 2019. The product has received a lot of success due to its ability to work seamlessly with iPhone and other Apple devices, although the audio fidelity cannot be compared with many competitors from Sony, Samsung or Google.
Besides the powerful noise cancellation (ANC), AirPods Pro also impresses with the Transparency feature that helps users monitor the surrounding sound while still enjoying the sound from the headphones.
