The news that Apple will add the iPhone 15 Ultra model to this year’s iPhone lineup is appearing more and more, with most believing it will be a product that brings many interesting features.

According to BGR , the iPhone 15 Ultra is expected to be switched from a stainless steel and glass frame design to a new titanium frame. Based on this information, industrial designer Jonas Daehnert posted on his Twitter a sample idea of how the iPhone 15 Ultra would look like if based on the design of the Apple Watch Ultra. For example, the device will have a solid-looking ringer on/off button, rounded corners, and even an orange action button.

Daehnert said his iPhone 15 Ultra concept was not based on leaked information because the design was simply “adapting the design of the Watch Ultra and combining it with a smaller iPhone Pro”. However, Daehnert’s idea can still give people a glimpse of what to expect from the iPhone 15 Ultra, such as a bulkier but sturdier design.

Earlier, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman said in the recent Power On news that Apple may be planning to add the iPhone 15 Ultra to the iPhone line or replace the Pro Max version with this model. On the other hand, analyst Ming-chi Kuo says the more expensive model will come with an iPhone design without ports/physical buttons – something Apple is still working hard to create. For this to happen, Apple will introduce solid-state power and volume buttons similar to the Home/Touch ID buttons on older iPhone and iPad models.

In addition, the iPhone 15 Ultra may also come with an A17 Bionic chip based on the 3nm process that will deliver better performance, while consuming about 35% less power than the current generation of chips.

Besides the price increase, the iPhone 15 Ultra’s more important feature could be the new periscope lens. This lens will also be exclusive to the high-end model of the iPhone 16 series. Equipping the periscope lens will help bring better zoom capabilities to the iPhone.
