Activision officially confirmed this year’s Call of Duty game

Activision has officially confirmed that Black Ops 6 will be the Call of Duty game for 2024. According to VGC, the return of the Black Ops series after a two-year absence has been eagerly awaited by fans of the franchise. The official announcement came after Activision launched a teaser website and began a marketing campaign with ads for the game in the USA Today publication. The teaser website, TheTruthLies.com, provided some details about the game’s plot and setting and revealed the official Black Ops 6 logo and full title.

Rumors suggest that Black Ops 6 will continue the story of the Black Ops Cold War, with the logo using the Arabic numeral “6” instead of the Roman numeral “VI” seen in previous installments. The Xbox Games Showcase event scheduled for June 9 is expected to reveal more information about Call of Duty Black Ops 6. Some sources speculate that the game may have been teased earlier this month through an event in Call of Duty Warzone.
