AMD is about to reveal many new Radeon graphics cards

AMD said it will make big announcements about new products at this year’s Gamescom event.

According to The Verge, AMD may unveil some new Radeon graphics cards in the next week. AMD’s senior vice president Scott Herkelman recently said in an X social media post that the Radeon team will make some “major product announcements” at Gamescom 2023.

While not detailing what’s coming, there’s a good chance AMD will launch new graphics cards in the Radeon RX 7000 series. During an earnings call earlier this month, CEO Lisa Su said. once said that the company would unveil “the Radeon 7000 series graphics cards for enthusiasts in Q3”.

Specifically, the listing says the RDNA3 GPU comes with 3840 stream processors and 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM on a 256-bit memory interface, along with a base clock of 2,210MHz and a boost clock of 2,565MHz. If these parameters are correct, this chip will be located between the two products Radeon RX 7900 GRE and Radeon RX 7600.

In addition to the new GPU launch, AMD is also expected to release a new version of its FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3) image upscaling technology. It is also rumored that the launch of FSR 3 will happen at the same time as the release of Starfield on September 6.
