Apple admits iPhone 14 Pro camera error, about to fix it

Apple will release an update to iOS 16 to fix an issue with the iPhone 14 Pro camera that will fix the issue of shaking when users try to use a third-party camera app.

According to AppleInsider , after reports went viral regarding an issue with the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max cameras that caused blurry and shaky footage when using third-party apps, Apple has now said it plans to address the issue. problem.

In a tweet from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, he said Apple has now identified an issue affecting Pro models, and update will be released next week. Apple acknowledged the issue affected third-party apps that use the camera.

When using a number of third-party apps, including Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok, some users discovered that the camera module started to shake when recording a video. The problem manifests itself in hardware, with visible movements and sound engines alerting users to something amiss with their smartphone.

Since the standard camera app is unaffected by this issue, it seems likely that the issue can be resolved with software, or at least a change that will affect all apps that use the model- camera module, not just Apple’s.

While there is no official explanation for the shake, the vibrations and engine sounds suggest it could be related to the built-in optical image stabilization system. For the 48MP main camera on the iPhone 14 Pro , Apple uses a second-generation Shift OIS sensor, which moves the sensor around inside the camera bumper.
