Apple designs separate masks for employees

Apple is known for developing innovative, high-quality electronics. However, the Covid-19 pandemic has led companies to incorporate their own research and exports into website designs.

According to Gizmochina, this so-called Apple Face Mask uses three layers of material to filter out dust particles. In addition, the company also has another type of mask called ClearMask – completely transparent type.

Thanks to the transparent design of the material, ClearMask will allow those who are deaf or hard of hearing to understand what is being said. According to the report, Face Mask masks are designed and manufactured entirely by Apple’s internal teams, while ClearMask is obtained from the outside.

Moreover, the company has carefully sourced raw materials so as not to lose the supply of raw materials needed for the export of masks to hospitals. To replace the standard fabric masks that employees wear, Apple will begin sending new masks to corporate and retail employees over the next few weeks.

In terms of design, the mask looks quite unique with large upper and lower covers for the nose and chin. It also comes with adjustable straps to easily hold the wearer’s ear.

It is currently not known whether the company plans to manufacture these new masks for external use. Apple Store policy requires employees and customers to wear masks, which means the Apple Store may distribute them to customers upon entering the store.
