iPhone 14 will be Apple’s first smartphone line to apply technology , although only a slight upgrade compared to the previous 27W charging capacity.

According to GizChina , when it comes to fast charging, Apple ‘s iPhone lags far behind its Android rivals. While Android smartphones already support 120W and even 200W fast charging, Apple’s phones currently only limit the maximum fast charging capacity of 27W on the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Limiting the fast charging speed on the iPhone is said to be because Apple wants to avoid possible risks, but users of its device may find it annoying when it takes more than 1 hour to fully charge the iPhone battery.

But things could change on the iPhone 14 series when the report says Apple will equip its upcoming product line with 30W fast charging. This number may not be large, but because the battery capacity of the iPhone is smaller than that of Android phones, the charging speed will be better. If the iPhone 14’s charging capacity increases to 30W, it can fully charge the battery in less than 1 hour.

The iPhone 14 will include the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max (or Plus) and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. Notably, the non-Pro models are not expected to have any significant design changes compared to their predecessors, even they will continue to use the same A15 Bionic chip on the iPhone 13 series.

Recent reports say that Apple will start accepting orders for the iPhone 14 on September 16 before they hit the shelves on September 23. event could take place on September 13.
