The popular Apple is working on the next iOS 14 mobile operating system and will also be released this year. However, the company has not released any official information at the start date. But before it was launched, there was a leak in the features available on iOS 14. At the same time, a new report was released saying that users on iOS 14 get a very special feature that allows them to use the application without installing it.
According to 9to5mac reports, Apple is working on a feature called ‘Clips’ in its upcoming iOS 14. In this, users will get the facility to try third party apps before installing them. Simply put, users can use an app before downloading or installing it to see how it is right for you.
According to the information given in the report, users have to scan a QR code to use the ‘Clips’ feature. With the help of this QR code, apps will be allowed to try without installing. This feature is also reported as part of the API. The API allows developers to notify users about the special and unique functions of their applications. The API can also allow developers to use interactive and dynamic content from their applications as rendering without installing applications.
By the way, before iOS 14, this feature is available in Android. The Slices feature present in Android OS works in a similar way. It shows some features of feature apps in Google Assistant and search results and loads a smaller version of the app. However, the report also said that it is not clear whether the company will integrate the new feature coming in iOS 14 to Siri.
