Apple has recently launched a public beta version of Apple Maps on the web, extending the service to users worldwide. The web version is compatible with Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome browsers for Windows PC users, and with Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome browsers for Mac and iPad users. Currently, it only supports the English language, but Apple has expressed intentions to broaden support to additional browsers, devices, and languages in the future.

The web version of Apple Maps delivers a familiar experience to the app, enabling users to access driving and walking directions, discover restaurants and Wi-Fi hotspots, and even order groceries. Users can also explore handpicked directions to various cities around the globe. As this is a beta version, Apple plans to introduce more features, including the Look Around feature, which will offer 360-degree panoramic views of specific locations in the coming months.

Apple is also granting developers the ability to link to Apple Maps on the web, allowing their users to access driving directions and location details. Overall, the debut of Apple Maps on the web represents a significant development for Apple users, offering an alternative to Google Maps.
