Apple may soon release iOS 17.0.4 to fix new bugs

iPhone models running iOS 17, especially the newly launched iPhone 15 generation, continue to have software problems, causing Apple to have to release more patches soon.

Apple has released up to 3 patches for iOS 17 since the operating system was officially released nearly a month ago. In the latest version, iOS 17.0.3, the company fixed some errors that caused the iPhone to heat up abnormally during software use. But then users discovered another problem.

According to 9to5Mac, iPhone models running iOS 17, especially the iPhone 15 series, are having Wi-Fi connection problems. In some cases, internet content cannot be downloaded even when using Wi-Fi or the connection speed is very low.

Many users reported that this condition automatically went away after a few minutes, but others were forced to turn off Wi-Fi on their iPhones and then turn it back on; Some people have to use 4G when they need something urgent. This is determined to be an iPhone-related error because other smartphones can still be used normally when connected to the same network and in the same area.

On the Apple product user community forum, a customer with the account “Toronto4112” said he encountered the above situation with his newly purchased iPhone 15 Pro Max, his phone even lost its Wi-Fi connection. Fi every 45 seconds.

“No other devices in the house have problems with Wi-Fi. The funny thing is that the iPhone still says it’s connected, but when I go to Settings, it says ‘No internet connection’. Hopefully, this is a bug.” iOS 17, not a hardware error,” this user shared.

Apple has not yet made any move to confirm whether it has received reports related to the problem or not. The company has been “quite busy” recently, having to continuously release iOS 17 software patches for iPhone models. Early last week, many iPhone 15 series users also reported that the device made strange sounds when turned on at high volume. With new problems continuously arising, Apple may have to release iOS 17.0.4 soon to reassure users, although it is unknown which problem it will focus on first
