Apple has just released the watchOS 10 update, to provide the Double Tap feature introduced by the company when launching the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 smartwatches.
According to Engadget, Double Tap can help users handle a number of pre-installed operations by moving two fingers (index finger and thumb) twice at the same time without having to touch. Apple smartwatch screen
Suppose a user wears an Apple Watch on their left wrist, if they are holding something with their right hand but want to answer (or end) a call or pause the content they are listening to, all they need to do is touch their finger. thumb and left index finger together twice.
Notably, Double Tap also follows the Assistive Touch feature that appeared on Apple Watch devices in 2021. Apple designed this feature to help people with mobility needs use it. Use their watch more easily using hand gestures.
Currently, to update to the latest watchOS 10, users just need to open their iPhone and go to the Apple Watch app. Then, go to General > Software Update and perform the upgrade according to the instructions
