Apple Vision Pro has an official release date

The official release date in the US market of the Apple Vision Pro mixed reality glasses has been announced.

According to IGN, Apple has officially announced the launch date of Apple Vision Pro – the most anticipated high-end mixed reality glasses today. Accordingly, Vision Pro will officially be available at all Apple Stores in the US and on the Apple US website on February 2, 2024.

Vision Pro will have a starting price of 3,499 USD for the 256 GB version. Users can pre-order starting January 19, 2024.

These glasses are integrated with both virtual reality (AR) and augmented reality (VR) display capabilities, allowing flexible switching between the two modes via a button on the camera body, helping users to interact with the virtual world and integrate with the real world depending on needs.

Apple CEO Tim Cook said: “Apple Vision Pro is the most advanced consumer electronics ever created. Its revolutionary and magical user interface will redefine the way we connect, create and explore”.

Environments feature Apple highlights Vision Pro, which allows users to immerse themselves in breathtaking landscapes like Haleakalā National Park, Joshua Tree, Yosemite, and even the surface of Sun Ang. The company says more than 1 million familiar apps on iOS and iPadOS are compatible with Vision Pro and work automatically with the new control system.
