Apple wins big with Vision Pro pre-order sales

Just 4 days after receiving Vision Pro pre-orders on January 19, Apple has succeeded in attracting customers to their product.

According to MacRumors, first announced at the WWDC 2023 developers conference, Vision Pro has received the attention of the technology community even if the device’s selling price is quite high. That has been proven based on the number of orders for this “space computer”.

Research given by analyst Ming-chi Kuo shows that Apple sold about 160,000 – 180,000 Vision Pro units in the first week of pre-orders alone. This information makes the prediction that Kuo made about the possibility of Vision Pro ” going out of stock ” in the first days of release completely come true.

Kuo’s data also shows that Apple can exceed Vision Pro sales plans in the first year of release. Previous reports showed that Apple aims to sell about 400,000 Vision Pro units in the whole of 2024. Based on available information about pre-orders, Vision Pro has brought Apple $ 500 million in revenue.

The boost in Vision Pro sales most likely stems from users receiving some information regarding the product’s working capabilities. Reports suggest multiple “space” games and more than 150 3D movies are ready to be played on the device, and several professional apps could take advantage of the device’s power when they are released.
