Apple won’t hold an October event

In his latest Power On, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said that Apple likely wouldn’t hold its October event as expected.

According to GizChina, previous leaks confirmed that Apple is preparing to hold an October event to announce many new products. However, the information from Mark Gurman may disappoint many people. Specifically, Mr. Gurman said Apple does not plan to hold an event to launch a new iPad or MacBook next month. Instead, Apple may launch these products through press releases.

Apple is said to be testing MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch. In addition, the company may introduce new iPad Pro models with an M2 chip and 11-inch and 12.9-inch screens and a low-cost iPad with an A14 Bionic chip. A Mac mini with a new M2 chip could also appear.

If this happens, this past September event will be Apple’s last event in 2022. That’s where Apple will hold it’s Far Out to unveil the iPhone 14, new Apple Watch models, and AirPods Pro 2.
