Ubisoft is targeting 2024 for its Assassin’s Creed title, codenamed Red, set in Japan.
According to VGC, in a LinkedIn post earlier this year, Ubisoft’s executive director of brand partnerships and business development, Arisa Lagunzad, said the company was looking for a Japanese partner to do the work
This post has now removed the timing details regarding the year 2024, but a translation of the original Japanese text on LinkedIn still says: “We are looking for partners to sponsor the game. Assassin’s Creed Codename Red for next year”.

These details are also quite similar to a February report from Insider Gaming, which stated that Red is expected to be released next year. The site’s sources also say that the game’s development is going well and that there will be two main characters with a strong focus on stealth.
