Asus ROG Ally X gaming console launched with ‘huge’ battery and RAM

Asus has launched the new ROG Ally X handheld gaming device, which is designed to offer exceptional gaming performance with its powerful configuration. According to reports from TechSpot, Asus has unveiled an upgraded version of the ROG Ally, a handheld game console that generated significant interest in the gaming community. The ROG Ally X boasts improved heat dissipation capabilities, with its most prominent feature being the inclusion of an 80Wh battery, double the capacity of its predecessor. This promises extended gaming sessions, addressing a key issue of the previous ROG Ally.

Furthermore, the ROG Ally X comes with a 1TB SSD, offering ample storage for games, and is equipped with 24GB of 7500MHz LPDDR5 RAM to ensure smooth performance. The cooling system has been enhanced with thinner and more efficient fans to keep the device cool during intense gaming sessions.

In terms of design, the ROG Ally X features two USB-C ports, including one that supports Thunderbolt 4, facilitating easy connectivity with peripheral devices.

The ROG Ally X will be available starting at 799 USD and comes with a 3-month Xbox Game Pass subscription. Pre-orders are open, and the device is expected to be delivered in July. With its valuable improvements, the ROG Ally X aims to be an appealing choice for gamers seeking high-quality mobile gaming experiences.
