Users of the OnePlus premium smartphone manufacturer were attacked by hackers. The hacker has hacked user data from the OnePlus online store. Hackers have stolen personal information from users who have been directed to the Chinese smartphone manufacturer’s online store. The company wrote in its forum that all payment information, card details, and user passwords are protected by hackers, while names, cellphone numbers, and email ID information have been received by hackers.
This is not the first time a hacker has made such an incident. The biggest example of this is data released from Cambridge Analytica, which was launched last year, which rocked the world’s largest social networking company, Facebook. After that, Facebook must change its privacy policy for users.
After this data leak, OnePlus did not specify how many users were affected by this data leak, but the company said in the forum that we wanted to inform you that customer order information was hacked. The company also did not disclose which users in the country were affected by the leak. OnePlus was hit by a similar security problem in January this year which affected more than 40,000 users.
The company recognizes that hackers have received information from online store users because of bugs or vulnerabilities on the site. Users whose data has expired can be attacked by hackers via spam or SMS. We want to instruct all users not to open the email or SMS. We are currently seeking help from other agencies to investigate the incident. We provide order information to all affected users via email. If you have not received an email from us, your order information will be protected.
