Bkav has recently introduced the Bkav SOC 2.0 (Security Operations Center) solution, aimed at providing comprehensive network security for agencies, organizations, and businesses. The Bkav SOC 2.0 is designed to monitor various entry points that hackers may exploit, including the network layer, server system, websites, and work terminals. It can swiftly identify and thwart hackers and viruses before they can cause any damage to the system.

In today’s landscape, hackers are increasingly using AI to craft more sophisticated and unpredictable computer viruses, leading to the creation of millions of new virus samples daily. The rise of social networking applications and user numbers has facilitated rapid and widespread virus dissemination, even infiltrating network administrators, which was previously uncommon.

According to Bkav experts, viruses primarily spread in two ways. First, through Zero-Day vulnerabilities in the system, which are security loopholes unknown to software developers or yet to be patched. Hackers can acquire Zero-Day vulnerabilities from the black market to breach systems effortlessly. Second, viruses are transmitted through phishing attempts, where malicious links, cracked software, and fake applications containing viruses are used to deceive users. This method has become a major problem in the industry in recent years.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Dat, General Director of Bkav Pro antivirus software company, highlighted that viruses often remain undetected in systems for extended periods, allowing them to gather comprehensive knowledge of the system before executing actions like data encryption and system paralysis, followed by ransom demands.

Additionally, many users’ misconceptions about antivirus software compound the severity of the computer virus issue. Some individuals believe that using the free antivirus software bundled with Windows is adequate. However, recent attacks on prominent influencers’ social network accounts, such as Facebook and YouTube, have demonstrated that free antivirus software is insufficient. These software often lack advanced features, leaving users vulnerable to unpredictable and dangerous virus behaviors, including hidden viruses.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Dat explained that the default antivirus software provided with operating systems offers only basic protection before users install professional antivirus software. Subsequently, once users install licensed antivirus software, the default software is automatically disabled. This underlines the importance of Bkav SOC 2.0, which comes with professional antivirus software, Bkav Pro.

Bkav SOC 2.0 is a comprehensive solution intended to thwart hackers and ransomware viruses, providing all-encompassing protection for network systems, including servers, personal computers, and web applications. Importantly, Bkav SOC 2.0 allows for the monitoring of all activities within the system, encompassing workstations, servers, network devices, and software, to detect aberrations such as data copying and encryption. In the event of an intrusion, a lurking virus, or a hacker probing the system, Bkav SOC 2.0 promptly detects and prevents anomalies.

The components of Bkav SOC 2.0 include the SIEM solution (event management and analysis), SOAR (coordination, automation, and response), NIPS (network layer intrusion detection and prevention), Threat Intelligence (threat updates), WAF (web application firewall), PAM (privileged access management), NAC (network access control), and AntiDDoS.
