Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War could appear in June’s Xbox Showcase

Recent rumors about an Xbox Showcase in June have been circulating online, suggesting that Microsoft will unveil the release date for Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War, a possible new title in the shooter franchise at the event. According to Tom Warren, a reputable journalist at The Verge, the information is accurate. Additionally, Tom Henderson, a reporter for Insider Gaming, has stated that the North American company plans to reveal the game before the showcase in a more traditional manner.

This move by Activision and Microsoft would replace the way Call of Duty games have been announced in recent years, which were revealed at events within Warzone, attracting numerous players annually. According to Henderson, Black Ops Gulf War could make an appearance even before the Summer Game Fest in June, and the showcase presented by Geoff Keighley would feature a deep dive into the gameplay, campaign, or other game features.

According to the Insider Gaming journalist, the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War is predicted to be in October. Raven Software will be responsible for the single-player campaign in an open world, while Treyarch Games will handle the multiplayer and zombie modes.
