Call of Duty Warzone Mobile officially announced

Before being fully revealed next week, Call of Duty Warzone Mobile has been officially announced by Activision.

According to VCG , Activision has officially announced Call of Duty Warzone Mobile in an announcement with an introductory video trailer. The publisher said that it plans to announce this game at a Call of Duty event next week.

Taking place on September 15, the ‘Call of Duty Next’ event will also bring new details about the two Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2

In March, Activision announced that it was working on a mobile version of Call of Duty Warzone, the free-to-play game released in 2020 and amassed 100 million players in just 13 months.

“Our mission with Project Aurora, the codename for the new mobile title, is to bring together friends, family, and people worldwide in a multiplayer community of a pulsating battle royale title. Speed and high quality,” said Activision.

Earlier in May, the game entered closed alpha testing for select people only. Gameplay videos Warzone Mobile began to leak on the internet, revealing details about how the new mobile game will use the Verdansk map inherent in the Warzone console and PC

Warzone Mobile is in the works at Activision’s new Solid State mobile game development studio, Beenox, Activision Shanghai, and Digital Legends.
