CEO Tim Cook posted a message in memory of Steve Jobs

To celebrate the 11th anniversary of the death of co-founder Steve Jobs from pancreatic cancer, CEO Tim Cook posted on Twitter, a message of tribute to his predecessor.

According to TechGoing, this year’s tweet from Tim Cook included a photo of Steve Jobs and a description of how Jobs’ work helped drive change. Cook writes: “Steve has shown us time and time again that a great idea can change the world. We remember him today and forever.”

In September, Mr. Cook attended the Code 2022 Conference with Jobs’ wife, Lauren Powell Jobs, and former chief design officer, Jony Ive . The trio discussed Jobs, technology, and other topics, and announced the launch of the Steve Jobs Archive – a website dedicated to the tech leader and his ideas. It includes quotes, video, and audio clips and will highlight historical material and future projects.

Also, at the conference, Mrs. Powell Jobs said: “While we have many items and documents to commemorate Jobs, the newly created archive will showcase more of his ideas.”

In February this year, Tim Cook also paid tribute to Steve Jobs on the occasion of his 67th birthday. In the tweet, Cook recalled how Jobs urged others to “strive for excellence and bring to the world better than we have found.”
