Dead Island 2 has a release date after years of delay

The zombie-style action RPG game will be released in February next year.

According to VCG , publisher Deep Silver has announced the Dead Island 2 long-awaited The sequel to the zombie action RPG title is now available for pre-order for the release date of February 3, 2023.

According to the newly announced trailers, Dead Island, 2 will be available for platforms like PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC (via Epic Games Store).

Similar to recently leaked information, the game will be set in Los Angeles (USA) and has 6 characters for players to experience.

Players who pre-order the game will receive access to the Memories of Banoi, which features two unique weapons, a special weapon unlock perk and a skill card.

Dead Island 2 was first announced in 2014 and has since suffered a series of delays and developer changes.

It was originally made at Spec Ops: The Line studio Yager before development was taken over by Sumo Digital. Then Dambuster, an internal studio of Deep Silver, took over development in 2019.
