Facebook is testing a new audio feature like Clubhouse called Live Audio

Clubhouse is more like a newcomer to the social networking system, Clubhouse is voice-based and has been noticed by many users. In February, Facebook teamed up with a clubhouse competitor so now we can catch a glimpse of Live Audio, a new feature of Facebook compared to the clubhouse clone.

A software engineer named Alessandro Paluzzi has figured out how to enable this new feature inside Facebook’s mobile app, which is currently hidden from ordinary users. According to TechCrunch, Live Audio will be integrated into Messenger Rooms. Users will soon find an option to start Live Audio that lets them hear what you’re saying in the room, similar to Clubhouse and Twitter Spaces.

Once the Live Audio room has been created, users can invite other users to join the chat via Facebook posts, Messenger messages, or by sharing a link. The profile photos of the users in that room are displayed as a circle and they are separated between speakers and others, just like Clubhouse.

Facebook is not alone in developing a new audio platform to compete with Clubhouse. Twitter has expanded the Spaces feature to more users in recent weeks with plans to make the feature available to everyone starting April.

Clubhouse surpassed 8 million downloads on the App Store last month, so it is expected that other companies will try to reach this audience as there appears to be a great interest in audio applications. .
