Facebook launches future prediction application

Facebook has just released a new application called Forecast that brings together various community sources and predictions. This is a NPE group product from Facebook (NPE – New Product Testing) and has not been extended to users who have been invited by the company to join. According to Phone Arena, users can ask questions and make predictions about current problems worldwide based on the number of points they earn in the application.

“Forecast is a place to ask questions and use points in the application to make predictions about the future. All questions posted by community members are then revised for clarity through Forecast’s adjustment tool and Facebook’s Community Standards, ”the company representative shared.

The current test topic is Covid-19. Facebook will invite people from health, research, and academic communities to make predictions about the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on the world.

If you want to participate, users need to send access requests to the Facebook Forecast Beta Testers group, download the app on iOS and wait for the invitation.
