FIFA 22 tops UK Christmas sales chart

FIFA 22 has taken the Christmas number one spot on the UK Boxed Charts for physical software sales in the UK.

According to VGC, soccer EA’s game took the top spot of the UK Boxed Charts for its third week, edging out Call of Duty: Vanguard and Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, according to GamesIndustry.biz data.

Missing out of the top 3 is the exclusive action PlayStation game, – Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

In addition, new categories also earned the next positions on the UK Boxed Charts. Among Us comes in at number five, with the Switch version accounting for 39% of total sales, ahead of other consoles like PS4 (24%), Xbox (20%), and PS5 (17%). GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition by Rockstar debuted at #6 after its release on PlayStation and Xbox, with a Switch version due out in 2022.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla took the top spot on the UK physics software chart last Christmas. Marks the first time that the series and publisher Ubisoft have topped the year-end festival season chart.
