PCs running on Windows 7 and Windows 8 will also be supported by the game Fortnite.

According to The Verge, the new season of Fortnite’s cyberpunk-themed Mega is out, but only users with Windows 10 and up will be able to explore its cyberpunk feel. This change also means that Fortnite will no longer support Windows 7 and 8 machines.

This move is not entirely unexpected, developer Epic Games said in December 2022 that they planned to end support for older versions of Windows when Fortnite season 2 chapter 4 launches .

For players who are still using Windows 7 or 8 and want to reap the rewards of Mega season, Epic has recommended switching to Nvidia’s GeForce Now cloud game service.

Fortnite is also available on many other devices such as PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Android. As for Apple, although the company has removed the game from the App Store, players can still experience Fortnite on iOS devices through GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
