Galaxy Ring will work with all Android phones

The Galaxy Ring is capable of functioning effectively on non-Galaxy Android phones. Samsung initially designed the Galaxy Ring as an exclusive accessory for its Galaxy phones. However, recent tests conducted by GSMArena have demonstrated that this smart ring is fully compatible with other Android phones.

Significantly, features such as Galaxy AI and Energy Score, which were initially thought to be restricted to Galaxy phones, function perfectly when the Galaxy Ring is connected to other Android devices, provided that the Samsung Health app and Samsung Wearables are installed. This signifies an opportunity for a wider range of Android users to experience the functionality of the Galaxy Ring, extending beyond Samsung’s Galaxy ecosystem.

Despite these positive developments, it is important to note that there are still certain limitations when using the Galaxy Ring with non-Galaxy phones. For instance, users may encounter restricted access to exclusive Samsung features and potential compatibility issues. However, the ability to install Samsung Health and Samsung Wearable from the Play Store allows nearly every Android user to access most of the functionality offered by this innovative smart ring.
