Galaxy S23 Ultra will be equipped with a super huge 200 MP rear camera

If the latest rumors are correct, Samsung will equip the high-end Galaxy S23 Ultra next year with a major camera update with the main sensor with a resolution of up to 200 MP.

According to TechTimes, the Galaxy S23 expected to launch early next year will bring a few significant design improvements, a bigger and better camera, and many other features. The most notable member of the Galaxy S23 is the Galaxy S23 Ultra – the most advanced smartphone model.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra is said to come with a 6.8-inch QHD screen with an eye-catching design. However, the most significant change in terms of functionality will be in the rear camera set. Specifically, famous analyst Ice Universe said that the phone will be equipped with a 200MP camera on the back.

Currently, there are only two smartphones on the market that come with a 200MP camera, however, there is a difference in technology at the core. For the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Samsung is likely to equip another 200 MP sensor product that the company has yet to announce, the ISOCELL HP2.

Regardless of which 200MP sensor is used, this will be a significant differentiator from the rest of the Galaxy S23 models. This is also consistent with the distinction that Samsung is making between the Ultra variant and the regular one, for example, the Galaxy S22 Ultra uses a 108 MP main camera, while other versions use a 50 MP main camera.

Sources say that Galaxy S23 will be released by Samsung in February 2023, continuing to include three members including Galaxy S23, S23 +, and S23 Ultra.
