It has been announced that Ghostrunner, a popular science fiction action game, will be available for free on the Epic Games Store for PC from April 11-18. This game will replace The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition and Thief, which were available for free on the platform previously. Ghostrunner is a unique single-player game with fast-paced violent action combat that takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting. The story revolves around a world that has collapsed, and its inhabitants fighting to survive.
Moreover, Epic Games has revealed that it plans to bring the Epic Games Store to mobile platforms later this year, making it the first cross-platform store focused on games. The store will work on Android, iOS, PC, and macOS. The company also intends to give mobile developers an 88/12 revenue share, along with other programs that allow them to retain 100% of revenue using their payment method.
Furthermore, Epic Games has expressed its interest in bringing the Epic Games Store to Xbox consoles in the future. Microsoft’s director of gaming, Phil Spencer, has also shown his desire to offer other digital stores such as the Epic Games Store on Xbox consoles.
