Google Bard can respond in real time

Artificial AI chatbots such as ChatGPT, Bing Chat, and Google Bard have continuously had many improvements recently. Accordingly, Google Bard is the latest product to receive a feature update that helps it respond in real-time.

Previously, Google’s large language model did not respond instantaneously but had a delay between question and answer. Bard always takes the time to draft complete answers before putting them on screen.

This is different from ChatGPT and Bing Chat, which both export text in real-time while the response continues to be processed until it’s complete. Currently, the Google Bard update also has the same feature as ChatGPT which is real-time processing, according to 9to5Google .

With Bard’s new way of working, users can also stop answering before it ends if they want. When users ask the wrong question or feel that Bard’s answer is not on point, they can click the Skip response icon to stop answering.

What’s interesting is that Bard now goes the way that ChatGPT and Bing Chat (powered by ChatGPT) did, although ultimately these AI tools will be judged more on the quality of their answers than how they respond. responded, according to TechRadar.

As before, after Google Bard provides feedback, users can view alternative responses via the “See other drafts” link in the top right. Users can also click the slider at the bottom to adjust the response.
