Google brings Material You design language to YouTube

Google has begun rolling out the Material You design language to the YouTube platform after the company rolled out this design style to Android 13.

According to GizChina, with the new look, the corners of YouTube will look soft in the new style. The design will also have rounded corners on thumbnails, and the Explore section has been moved to the left.

For YouTube for PC, the design is more modified than the mobile design. The company has made some significant tweaks, including switching from a gray to a black theme. App design YouTube Music uses the same design elements.

It’s important to note that the new YouTube page is still in beta, and the new design elements are not yet complete. However, it won’t be surprising that it happens soon as Google is now accelerating its move to design trend Material You

YouTube just introduced an ad that will go into effect later this month. Users who are not Premium subscribers will receive up to 5 ads before the video starts. Even so, some free YouTubers reported on Twitter and Reddit that they had started to see 5 ads instead of 2 before being able to watch their YouTube. Not to stop, some free users said they received 5 non-skippable ads instead of the skippable ones before the video session.
