Google launches video creation AI, competing with OpenAI’s Sora

At the recent Google I/O 2024 event, Google Deepmind CEO Mr. Demis Hassabis introduced Veo, an incredible video-creating artificial intelligence. Veo can turn text commands into high-quality, over-a-minute-long videos at 1,080p resolution. It’s set to be a rival to OpenAI’s Sora and is causing quite a buzz in the market.

Veo is not just your average video creation AI. It’s designed to understand natural language and capture the tone of commands to bring your creative vision to life. Whether you want a timelapse or an aerial landscape, Veo can create consistent, coherent footage with realistic movements of people, animals, and objects.

But that’s not all – Google also launched Imagen 3, an image creation AI that promises incredibly detailed, realistic photos with fewer distracting details. Both Veo and Imagen 3 are not yet available to the public, but if you’re eager to get your hands on these cutting-edge tools, you can sign up for the waiting list.

Excitingly, Google hinted that some of Veo’s features might be integrated into YouTube Shorts and other image products in the future. Keep an eye out for more updates on these game-changing AIs
