Google officially released Android 15

Google has recently rolled out the stable Android version 15, making it available for developers. However, the update for Pixel devices is yet to be released, with expectations set for October. Samsung and other brands will soon start receiving the Android 15 update in the upcoming months, with reports indicating that Samsung might initiate the One UI 7.0 beta program later this month. This follows a delay in the release of the beta program to address major bugs and prioritize the release of a stable version, namely One UI 6.1.1.

Developers can now begin app and game testing for compatibility on Android 15, which includes improvements such as better memory usage insights, an enhanced built-in PDF renderer, and an improved 3D canvas for drawing. Samsung may initially open the One UI 7.0 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series before expanding it to other phones like the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy A55. The beta program will likely be available in several countries, including China, Germany, India, the UK, and the US.

From leaked information, the upcoming One UI 7.0 is expected to feature an improved user interface, a new Quick Panel layout, as well as revamped native apps, transitions, animations, smoother photos, new charging effects, and video call synchronization.
