Google released Android 11 beta 2.5 and patched a number of nasty bugs

Google has just released an update for Android 11 Beta 2.5 to fix some bugs reported by beta testers in the previous Beta 2 version. Google released Android 2 Beta 2 weeks ago. Although the update brings improvements to the stability of the platform, there are still some nasty bugs on pixel devices. Among these, the error that best reflects the majority of Pixel 4 users is the problem with the display flashing during the process.

Google will now release a new version of Android 11 Beta 2.5 to fix the remaining bugs. In addition to solving the Pixel 4 screen flicker problem, this update also resolves issues related to the notification area, loss of recording capacity after a VoIP call. Here is a list. Current complete correction:

• Addresses an issue that prevents the user from being able to hear audio or recording in other applications after making a VoIP call.

• Fix notification area error not appearing when user swipe down from the top of the screen.

• Fix screen flickering error on some devices when in low brightness.

• Fix various issues that may cause unexpected device reboots.

• Fix occasional navigation bar loss, for example when rebooting the device.

• Some Pixel 4 / XL devices in the case of more than one Android 11 update will no longer be blocked when returning to Android 10 via OTA.

• Fix sometimes interrupted video recording in Camera app.

• Fixed a bug where the ‘Calling’ application sometimes used speakerphone sound by default.

• Fixed a bug stuck in the connection state for the RCS chat features in the ‘Messages’ app.

This update comes with build number RPB2.200611.012, available for download from all regular update channels.
