GTA 6 could bring a single-player expansion

The upcoming GTA 6 is said to offer multiple expansions.

According to ComicBook, Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) fans may bring something that GTA 5 has long been denied, which is single-player DLC.

GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated games of all time to date, however, this game still does not have an exact release date. But many fans are hoping that valuable information will be announced in the next few weeks before the revenue announcement of Take-Two Interactive (Rockstar Games’ parent company) takes place

The company has previously stated that it is projecting a jump in sales from spring 2024 to early 2025, which can really only be achieved if GTA 6 releases during that time. Take-Two Interactive did not clarify these speculations but stated that they plan to release major titles during the said period.

insiders who go by One of the trusted GTA handle Tez2 shared on GTAForums recently that Rockstar has plans for an expansion for GTA 6. Previously, GTA 5 was also planned to have a story expansion, but it was unexpectedly scrapped due to the success of GTA Online.

It is believed that GTA 6 cut content at some point during development to help the developers avoid a crunch and get the game released soon, but that scrapped content will still be utilized later. Therefore, it is possible that fans will receive new locations and cities in GTA 6 through expansion packs, avoiding the situation of having to wait for GTA 7 to be released for a long time.
