GTA 6 release date may be earlier than expected

Rockstar Games’ job listing has hinted at GTA 6’s release date.

According to VGC, a new job posting from Rockstar Games is hiding an important clue about GTA 6’s release date, or at least that’s what fans of the Grand Theft Auto franchise are hoping. Previously, Rockstar confirmed that GTA 6 would be released at an unspecified date in 2025, but the developer has yet to provide any more specific information.

This job posting is specifically for the Russian localization of the game. Fans and as some GTA have pointed out, this job posting suggests that Rockstar Games is planning to release its most anticipated game of all time in early 2025 instead of the end of the year as many predicted

As pointed out on Reddit, this job position has a 12-month contract period. Meanwhile, in the “responsibilities” section of the job posting it is mentioned that the candidate will “ensure the highest possible quality of the final product”. Typically, language localization happens late in the game development process. Besides, the contract is only for 12 months and even states that the candidate will get to work on the “final product”.

In conclusion, 12 months from now shows that GTA 6 will most likely arrive in early 2025. The Reddit post also noted: “They probably won’t hire a language staff just to leave go in March 2025 and release the game by the end of 2025, because by then the game may need more testing time.”

But so far, Rockstar Games has not commented on any rumors. Therefore, everything is still at the speculative level, but well-founded arguments from the gaming community show that GTA 6 ‘s potential release date may come earlier than expected
