Hogwarts Legacy sales surpassed 12 million after a short time of release

Hogwarts Legacy hit an impressive sales milestone in the first two weeks after its release.

The impressive numbers above are calculated with the game’s sales on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Despite the controversy surrounding author JK Rowling’s views on transgender rights, the game is still well-received around the world.

The success of Hogwarts Legacy even came early, when the game began to be available to those who pre-ordered the Deluxe version. Prior to its full release, the game broke records for viewership on Twitch. At release, there were nearly 900,000 concurrent players on Steam.
