iOS 16 will officially reach users on September 12

Apple has just officially announced that it will release its latest operating system – iOS 16, on September 12 after introducing it at WWDC 2022.

Many features will come with the new update that Apple is rolling out. The first is a series of improvements to the lock screen, including the ability to add widgets and customize the appearance and a new way to present notifications.

With iOS 16, users can edit and recall sent messages (with some limitations), use the new iCloud Shared Photo Library to share photos with family, and use the Live Text feature to retrieve text messages. Versions from videos as well as pictures.

Apple released the new operating system before Apple’s latest iPhone models reached users. According to a recent announcement, the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will be available for pre-order on September 9 before hitting store shelves on September 16.

The release of iOS 16 will help users no longer rely on the iOS 16 beta version to install on compatible iPhone models like today. It is known that iOS 16 will be supported on iPhone 8 and later models.
