The 10 most-sold smartphone rankings in the first 6 months of this year, conducted by analyst firm Omdia, show that there are five products from Apple.
According to PhoneArena, the iPhone 11 outperformed other competitors in the ranking. Sales of the iPhone 11 hit 37.7 million units, surpassing 26.9 million iPhone XR in the same period last year. In other words, the iPhone 11 is even more successful than the iPhone XR.
Ranked fifth on the list is the iPhone SE (2020) that just launched a few months ago, with 8.7 million units sold by the end of June. Surprisingly, the iPhone XR is at No. 6 with 8 million. the machine is consumed. The last two names from Apple in the chart are iPhone 11 Pro Max (7th position) and 11 Pro (10th place) with sales of 7.7 million and 6.7 million units, respectively.
Second on the list is Samsung Galaxy A51 with a total of 11.4 million units delivered to users. Another surprise came from Xiaomi when there were four representatives of this company in the top 10. Redmi Note 8 ranked third with 11 million units chosen by customers and followed by Redmi Note 8 Pro with 10.2 million. Redmi 8A and Redmi 8 lead each other to the 8th and 9th place.
The above rankings show that Samsung seems to be slowly outperforming its Chinese competitor Xiaomi. Compared to the same period last year, Samsung has decreased 3 representatives. Oppo products fell out of the top 10 even though in the first half of 2019 their Oppo A5 held fourth place.
