iPhone 14 Pro delivery time extended to 6 weeks

The waiting time for iPhone 14 Pro models to reach users from the current order date lasts from 4 to 6 weeks, and the number is expected to increase in November.

According to AppleInsider, in a note to investors, research firm Wedbush said demand for the iPhone 14 Pro series is encouraging. Analysts Daniel Ives and John Katsingris believe that total iPhone 14 Pro sales reached 85% to 90%, much higher than total iPhone 13 Pro sales, which were in the 60% to 65% range at the same time last year.

Not stopping there, overall demand for iPhone 14 Pro is 8-10% higher than Apple’s expectations, and the company could face supply problems if demand continues. at this rate during the holiday season and sales could resume as early as 2023. This could be the reason why Apple is asking Foxconn to shift some iPhone 14 production to the Pro models.

iPhone 14 sales are strong in China, and Wedbush believes that about 30% of iPhone owners in China can upgrade to the iPhone 14. This is entirely reasonable when the retail servers in this country experienced problems when consumers placed a total of more than 2 million orders for the iPhone 14 Pro series in the first 24 hours.

Meanwhile, other researchers have shown that iPhone 14 Pro Max demand outstrips iPhone 13 Pro models. Analysis from research firm Morgan Stanley shows that the iPhone 14 Pro Max has the longest delivery time of any other iPhone model released in the past 6 years at a similar time after launch. is 36.5 days. However, the iPhone 14 Pro is on par with the iPhone 13 Pro models at 29.5 days. And JP Morgan recently said that the iPhone 14 Pro has an average delivery time of 35 days and the iPhone 14 Pro Max is 41 days.
