iPhone 15 Pro Max will have the world’s thinnest screen border

The upcoming iPhone 15 Pro Max is said to feature a screen with a bezel measuring just 1.55 mm at the front, making it the thinnest bezel of any smartphone ever produced.

According to Apple Insider, based on recent leaked CAD (computer-aided design) drawings, the iPhone 15 Pro Max could be thicker than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, although the camera protrusion is slightly smaller. The latest information from leak expert Ice Universe reveals that the 1.55 mm size of the bezel on the iPhone 15 Pro Max will break the previous record set by Xiaomi 13 of 1.81 mm. It is known that the border on the screen of Galaxy S22 and S23 is about 1.95 mm, while the iPhone 14 Pro is 2.17 mm.

This information is quite consistent with previous reports that described the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s screen as “very beautiful”, and this can be traced back to the adoption of an Apple Watch-style curved edge design. With that done, Apple is increasingly wanting to beautify its next phone line with a design that changes more than the previous two generations.

By making changes to the iPhone 15 Pro Max bezel size, Apple will force users to spend more money on protective cases, resulting in more costly investments.

The iPhone 15 series is expected to officially launch in September this year with a total of 4 different versions, including iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max (or 15 Ultra). first time from the $999 it has imposed since the iPhone X launched in 2017. Of these, Apple may be raising prices on high-end models
