iPhone 15 users have to install iOS 17.0.2 to avoid data transfer errors

Apple has just released iOS 17.0.2 specifically for the iPhone 15 series to fix the error of transferring data from an old iPhone to a new iPhone.

According to PhoneArena, the newly discovered error can cause the iPhone 15 to freeze during data transfer, causing the new phone to freeze with the Apple logo on the screen.

To prevent this from happening, before transferring data from another iPhone, iPhone 15 series users need to go to Settings > General > Software Update. If you have tried to transfer data from another iPhone to the new iPhone 15 model and have not installed iOS 17.0.2, users may find their new device stuck on the Apple logo.

Specifically, the phone may freeze if, during the setup process for the new iPhone 15 series phone, the user chooses to transfer applications and data from the old iPhone to the new iPhone. If you decide to manually set up your new iPhone 15 series device and download all the individual apps from the App Store, you will not encounter any problems. However, since transferring data from another iPhone makes things much easier, users need to install iOS 17.0.2 before starting to transfer data and apps, and users will not have to worry about any problems.

It’s also important to remember that iOS 17.0.2 is only for iPhone 15 series. It is not related to the iOS 17.0.1 version that Apple recently released for all iPhone models from XR and above. That update fixes serious security flaws that could have been exploited, according to Apple’s records.
