iPhone SE 2022 has a 4.7-inch screen, supports 5G

The third-generation iPhone SE, slated for release in 2022, will still use the same 4.7-inch LCD screen but have a 5G network connection.

According to AppleInsider, DisplaySearch analyst Ross Young has tweeted that the next iPhone SE will use a 4.7-inch LCD screen just like the iPhone 8. It will also support 5G. , although only on the 6 GHz subnet. In 2023, Apple could launch another phone with a 6.1-inch punch-hole display instead of a notch.

If the information coming from Young is correct, this is quite consistent with past rumors regarding the next-generation iPhone SE. At the end of 2019, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says Apple is developing an iPhone SE Plus model with a 5.5-inch or 6.1-inch display with a smaller notch. Although the product was originally scheduled to be released in 2021, Kuo later said that there are no new iPhone SE models to be released before 2022.

Current rumors also suggest that Apple is working on iPhone 14 models with a hole-punch display design instead of a notch to launch in 2022.

Earlier, Young also said that a new iPhone SE with a dual-lens camera could debut in spring 2022.
